ExperienceLifelong learner, teacher, and practitioner of various subjects ranging from mathematics, teaching, physics, finance, and programming. After teaching for over 10 years either as a high school teacher or grad/undergraduate student, I'm looking to jump back into the fun! I am very patient, enthusiastic, and a little wacky. My diverse background both in subject matter expertise and in teaching different audiences (ranging from high school students to undergradute and graduate students) allows me to communicate effectively with all levels. I can tutor any high school or undergraduate mathematics/statistics course, the entire new AP Physics sequence (4 courses), and much more!
- 2 years teaching high school physics (AP Physics 1, AP Physics 2, AP Physics C Mechanics, and AP Physics C Electricity and Magnetism).
- 10 years serving as an instructor, TA, or mathematics tutor at UPenn/Pitt. Won numerous teaching awards at both. Taught/tutored everything in the undergraduate curricula of both as well as many graduate courses.
- Now working in quantitative finance. Strong background both in computer programming and statistics with applications to finance.
HobbiesI enjoy playing music (bass and guitar mostly), learning/reading, collecting/playing board games, retrogaming, running, cooking, biking, watching e-sports/speed running, riffing on poorly-made movies with my friends.
